BLACKPINK have officially hit the ground running, and they’re not slowing down. Today (July 11), the global K-pop juggernauts returned with “JUMP,” a high-octane digital single that ends the group’s nearly three-year hiatus and launches their massive DEADLINE World Tour in style.
First teased with a live performance at the tour’s kickoff show in Goyang, South Korea on July 5, “JUMP” is a pulsating genre-bender that sees the quartet — JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ and LISA — diving headfirst into hardstyle territory. The track marks a significant sonic shift for BLACKPINK, departing from their polished pop roots in favor of a club-ready rave anthem designed to dominate both dance floors and charts.

Penned by an international powerhouse of hitmakers — TEDDY, Diplo, ZIKAI, Claudia Valentina, Jumpa, Malachiii, Jesse Bluu and 24 — and produced by Diplo, 24, Boaz van de Beatz, Zecca and Ape Drums, “JUMP” is a full-throttle adrenaline rush. It opens with a cinematic guitar riff evocative of a Western standoff before exploding into a feverish blend of EDM, synth-pop, and techno beats. The result is as bold as it is addictive, with each member trading verses that play to their unique strengths, from JENNIE’s bite to ROSÉ’s smoky urgency, LISA’s rapid-fire delivery and JISOO’s atmospheric edge.

The music video, already trending on YouTube with nearly 17 million views, 2.6 million likes, and climbing within hours of release, turns up the intensity. Directed by GRAMMY-winning visionary Dave Meyers, the MV delivers a barrage of stylized visuals: mirrored mazes, subterranean tunnels, neon-lit street scenes, and rooftop catwalks, all wrapped in BLACKPINK’s signature blend of luxury and rebellion. Each frame captures their transformation looking fierce, unrelenting, and unapologetically stylish.
Lyrically, “JUMP” delivers the group’s classic brand of confidence and defiance, laced with lines like “I’m not that easy to tame / You should see me under these lights,” and “You know we on a mission / All gas, no brakes.” It’s a war cry dressed in sequins and synths, demanding listeners to rise, dance, and, quite literally, jump.
This comeback also signals a new chapter in BLACKPINK’s trajectory, one shaped by growth and independence. Since the release of their 2022 chart-topping album “Born Pink” and the 2023 game-exclusive single “The Girls,” the members have focused on solo pursuits: JENNIE’s acting debut in The Idol, ROSÉ’s solo music projects, LISA’s record-breaking international appearances, and JISOO’s ventures into acting and fashion. “JUMP” now reunites them in peak form, reminding the industry — and the world — why BLACKPINK continues to set the standard.
Their DEADLINE World Tour is poised to match the track’s energy, with 31 shows across 16 cities including double-header stadium dates in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, and London. After their fiery South Korea opener, the group heads to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles this weekend, promising the kind of scale and spectacle only BLACKPINK can deliver.
With “JUMP,” BLACKPINK aren’t just back, they’re breaking out. This is a group that knows how to command attention, raise the stakes, and reset expectations. The message is clear: you can’t cage them, you can’t copy them — you can only follow their lead.
“JUMP” is now available to stream on all major platforms!
