The 2025 Emmy Awards are shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet, with a dynamic mix of returning heavyweights and breakout newcomers earning top recognition from the Television Academy.
Announced by Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song on Tuesday morning, this year’s nominations reflect both the continued dominance of prestige television and the rise of bold, genre-defying storytelling. Leading the pack is the mind-bending workplace satire “Severance”, which scored a staggering 27 nominations, followed closely by “The Penguin” (24), “The White Lotus” (23), and the buzzy new comedy “The Studio” (23).
