Pixie Lott is ushering in the holiday season with a quietly moving new release, unveiling ‘First Christmas’ – a festive single written in tribute to her newborn son and the milestone of his first holiday.
The track – her first major release since welcoming her second child with husband Oliver Cheshire – finds Pixie leaning into warm, understated production and intimate lyricism. Rather than chasing a glossy pop moment, she delivers something more personal: a soft-focus reflection on new parenthood, nostalgia and the emotional weight of seeing Christmas through an infant’s eyes.
More than a seasonal single, ‘First Christmas’ doubles as a love letter to new life and the quiet magic that comes with it during the brightest stretch of the year. With nothing but piano beneath her, Lott’s voice effortlessly carries the track – a reminder of her natural warmth and clarity, delivered here with disarming intimacy.

Never one to shy away or play down her love for the festive season, Pixie says of the song: “So excited for my baby’s first Christmas and sharing it with our Albert and all the family. So many special moments to cherish forever, where he will never be this small again! I’m so excited about all the magical memories we are going to create this year and want them to last forever!”
“My social media algorithm is flooded with people talking about their baby’s First Christmases. This is for all the parents who are experiencing the magic of their first Christmas with a new little one and want to remember it forever like me.”

To coincide with the singles release, Pixie will play a very special headline show at London’s Union Chapel on Wednesday, December 17th. The gig, just over a week before Christmas, will see the singer play a selection of her biggest hits, and new tunes as well as festive favourites.
Billed as being a family-friendly, celebratory occasion, suitable for ALL ages, tickets are on sale now.
Talking of the show, Pixie adds: “Christmas is my favourite time of year, I love it and I just can’t wait to get all festive! I’m so excited to do my first Christmas show, I can’t believe I haven’t done one before and there’s nowhere better than the beautiful Union Chapel. It is for all ages and I’ll be performing all the songs you know, some new ones, a few surprises and of course some Christmas classics. I will of course be performing First Christmas too and I can’t wait to see you all there, it’s going to be so fun. This is my baby’s first Christmas, my first headline show back at the most magical time of year, my first Christmas song, and I am in my first Christmas film. To say I’m excited is the biggest understatement.’’
Away from music, Lott is set to appear in in the new Christmas film Christmas Karma, alongside an all star cast including Kunal Nayyer, Eva Longoria, Billy Porter, Danny Dyer, Leo Suter, Charithra Chandran, Hugh Bonneville and Boy George. The movie is in cinemas worldwide now.
