Enduring pop heavyweights Sugababes mark the start of an exciting new era today (March 13th) with the unveiling of their spellbinding new single ‘Jungle’ – an infectious, and pulsating slice of perfectly crafted altnerative-pop that beautifully captures the essence of groups DNA.
Released via their own label, and distributed by The Orchard, the unique sounding track sees the much loved trio team up with production powerhouse Jon Shave (Charli XCX, Louise), and acclaimed songwriters Anya Jones (Lola Young, Purple Disco Machine, Kylie), and Wayne Hector (Tate McRae, Nicki Minaj, Mahalia, Burna Boy) to produce an utterly addictive BOP that intertwines elements of 2-step, garage and R&B with babes’ trademark vocal harmonies.
“We are so excited to release ‘Jungle’ and cement this new chapter for us, after what has been an incredible 3 years on the road,” Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan say in a joint statement. “As soon as it was written, it felt like the perfect thing for people to hear first. The arrival of ‘Jungle’ comes just weeks before the Sugababes are due to embark upon their very own HEADLINE arena tour!
Set to kick off at The First Direct Arena in Leeds on April 8th, the girls will visit 7 further cities before wrapping up proceedings at the 3Arena in Dublin on April 20th.
