After making her debut as host in 2024, musical theatre star and Steps icon Faye Tozer will once again present the UK Theatre Awards.
Supported by headline sponsor Encore, this years ceremony will take place on Sunday 12th October at 8 Northumberland Avenue, and will once again celebrate the very best of theatre across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Awards are given for creative excellence and outstanding work both on and off stage, including the coveted UK’s Most Welcoming Theatre Award and the Outstanding Contribution to British Theatre accolade.
The full list of nominations will be revealed on Thursday 18th September, with the UK’s Most Welcoming Theatre Award finalists – Birmingham Rep, Royal & Derngate and Shakespeare North Playhouse – already announced.

Although best-known as a member of BRIT Award-winning pop band?Steps, Faye Tozer is no stranger to theatre, with her many stage credits including 101 Dalmatians, 42nd Street, Singin’?In The Rain, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, In The Spotlight, Over The Rainbow, Me and My Girl, Love Shack, Saucy Jack and The Space Vixens and Tell Me on a Sunday.
Most recently she appeared as Miss Kitty Leroy in Dita Von Teese’s Diamonds And Dust at the Emerald Theatre in London.
Away from the stage, Tozer and her fellow bandmates Claire Richards, Lee Latchford-Evans, Lisa Scott-Lee and Ian ‘H’ Watkins, recently launched HERE & NOW – a brand new musical based on the songs of Steps.
Directed by the award-winning Rachel Kavanaugh (Half a Sixpence, The Great British Bake Off Musical) and written by Shaun Kitchener (Hollyoaks), the show features many of the groups iconic hits, including 5, 6, 7, 8, Stomp, Better Best Forgotten, and Last Thing On My Mind.
Currently playing at the Manchester Opera House, the production will tour the UK until May 2026. Tickets for all shows are on sale here.
