DJ Snake and Stray Kids Join Forces on Electrifying New Track ‘In The Dark’

Global EDM powerhouse DJ Snake has officially released his new album Nomad, featuring the highly anticipated collaboration “In The Dark” with K-pop sensation Stray Kids. The track dropped worldwide on November 7, marking the artists’ first joint effort and a defining moment in cross-genre global music partnerships.

“In The Dark” blends DJ Snake’s signature electronic flair with Stray Kids’ dynamic performance style, resulting in a high-energy track that bridges the pulse of EDM with the intensity of K-pop. The collaboration emerged after the two acts met at the Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes charity event in Paris in 2024 — a meeting that sparked mutual admiration and creative synergy.

“I’m honored to collaborate with Stray Kids, who are having a great impact on the K-pop scene,” DJ Snake said in a statement. His 17-track album Nomad explores a spectrum of sounds inspired by global music cultures, including influences from India, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. The inclusion of “In The Dark” underscores the album’s international spirit, positioning it as one of the most diverse projects in his career to date.

For Stray Kids, “In The Dark” extends a remarkable year of global milestones. Their fourth full-length album, KARMA, released in August, became the first K-pop album in Billboard 200 history to achieve seven consecutive No. 1 entries. The group’s momentum continues as they prepare for their next album, SKZ IT TAPE: DO IT, due out November 21, with double title tracks “Do It” and “Sinsunnol-eum.”

The collaboration symbolizes a growing exchange between Western electronic producers and K-pop’s boundary-pushing performers — a fusion that increasingly defines the modern global music scene. With “In The Dark,” both DJ Snake and Stray Kids reinforce their reputations as artists unafraid to innovate across genres, languages, and continents.
