Blue share rousing new single ‘Beautiful Spiritual’

British pop stalwarts Blue once again prove their talent for crafting timeless, feel-good hits with the release of their latest single, ‘Beautiful Spiritual’.

Lifted from the quartet’s upcoming seventh studio album, ‘Reflections’ – set for release on January 9th, 2026 – the upbeat track follows their recent singles ‘One Last Time’ and ‘Waste My Time’. It was penned by the band’s youngest member, Lee Ryan, alongside Jarrad Rogers (Charli XCX) and longtime collaborator Paul Visser, with production handled by GoldCrush & Rogers.

‘Beautiful Spiritual’ blends classic and contemporary influences, pairing sleek, modern pop production with a funky, dance-ready flair reminiscent of George Michael, all without losing the unmistakable R&B warmth that defines Blue. Beneath its love-song exterior lies a thoughtful twist, as the updated verses delve into a relationship transformed by time.

Commenting on the song, Lee says: “I wrote this track 22 years ago after doing my first solo album. I got in with Jarrad Rogers and literally wrote a whole album in 3 weeks. ‘Beautiful Spiritual’ was one of those songs! It really does show you sometimes songs have their own divine timing in this crazy world of music. Two decades later and this track finally made it to the front of the queue, I never gave up on hoping this song would one day have its moment. I think that’s a life lesson right there, sometimes a little patience and tenacity goes a long long long way.”
