Global K-Pop sensations BTS are officially back! After taking time away for mandatory military service, the group have confirmed details of a new album and world tour.
Made up of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, BTS have revealed that their fifth full-length album will be released on March 20. If that wasn’t exciting enough, the band will be embarking on a world tour in support of the album.
The upcoming album reflects the culmination of BTS’ journey to date and defines the group on their own terms. The members devoted themselves to the album’s creation in the second half of 2025. Comprising a total of 14 tracks, the album is driven by each member’s honest introspection as they collectively shaped its direction by weaving their individual perspectives into the music.
Dates and locations for the accompanying world tour will be announced on January 14 at midnight KST. This marks their first large-scale tour in approximately four years since ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,’ which concluded in Las Vegas in April 2022. The tour is anticipated to be a defining cultural moment, celebrating a reunion set to be etched in pop culture history.
In true BTS style, ahead of the announcement the band send sent heartfelt, handwritten letters to their ARMY (BTS’ official fandom) worldwide. Penned by each member and delivered directly to fans’ homes, the letters expressed gratitude to those who have stood by the band over the years. The band also sparked wider excitement about their return by resetting their official Instagram account on New Year’s Day.
The group have already reached gargantuan heights, including becoming the fastest group since the Beatles to chart four US number-one albums in less than two years, Grammy nominations, number one singles and albums, and sold-out performances across the globe. There is no doubt that BTS’ return is highly anticipated, and looks set to be a defining moment in pop culture.
