The first trailer for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ is here!

Gird your loins fashion lovers, as the first trailer for the highly anticipated The Devil Wears Prada 2 has been released.

A sequel for spring? Groundbreaking. But in this instance, it truly is as the sequel to the 2006 movie is almost here, 20 years after the first film was released. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is slated for release on May 1 and features its original stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci.

A teaser trailer for the movie was released back in November, and now the first official trailer has been shared. Whilst details about the plot are still thin on the ground, what we do know is that Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) is back at Runway magazine, this time as the Features Editor. However, whilst Nigel (Stanley Tucci) exclaims, “Look what the T.J.Maxx dragged in”, big boss Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) has no recollection of Andy whatsoever.

Soundtracked by Madonna’s ‘Vogue’, the trailer is full of striking fashion looks and also sees Andy and Emily (Emily Blunt) come face to face once more. Whilst she reluctantly compliments Andy on her new found confidence, she can’t help but also get in a dig about keeping the same eyebrows!
